2007-12-07 6:38 PM "How is this December different from last year?" Read/Post Comments (2) |
I'm actually using the Holidailies daily prompt.
I've never done that before--and may never again. And the title IS today's "prompt." Let's see--a year ago I wasn't in the throes of a teaching semester end, with all sorts of grading--and grade calculations--to do. And I think that's about the only significant difference. Family status has remained the same, critter status has remained the same, and even the neighbors are the same. I'm also still working at the Women's Center library. It worked out quite well with the three days a week teaching job. Of course, this time last year was also the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. I was in kindergarten then and didn't really understand why the grownups were suddenly so quiet when the radio announcer broke into the program with that news. I do remember that we were at my maternal grandparents' house in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. We lived in Nutley, which was fairly close. The more I think about it, the less I find that is different compared to last year. It will be interesting to read other Holidailies posts.
