I was all set to upload to Holidailies, then I realized that before I could do that I would have to write something.

So I did, at the top of the page.

Today was a catching-up kind of day for me. I caught up on the various bills and checkbook entries that were piled on the table.

And then I gave myself (and the cats) a present and cleaned the box in the bathroom. They also have one on the front porch, but it's not bad at all.

Finally, I went to the post office and bought some more stamps at their cute little machine that takes credit cards, then mailed off the bills etc. that I'd taken care of in the morning.

On the way home from the errands I stopped at the little Sav-A-Lot that just reopened after being flooded by Katrina. It's a nice little store--not much variety and some strange brands, but convenient for "stuff you forgot." In the past it had really good produce, and it looks like it still does.

By the time I'd finished the bills and checkbook stuff it was starting to cloud over, so I decided to pass on yard work. It will still be there tomorrw.

Oh--CC is still using her Christmas present. (And Lady has also checked it out.)
