After getting warmed up by the once-again-lit furnace, I headed outside for some more of the de-weeding of the "front" lawn. I got a lot done and it's starting to look halfway decent.

One of the turtles was on the pool step soaking up the sun and appeared to debate a few minutes about whether he(?) should go back into the deeper water. This turtle is about eight inches wide and about a foot long. Obviously, the pool is conducive to good health and growth.

While I was weeding Lady stayed close by--at least until Bob appeared. Then she glared at him, especially when he nibbled at the dry food I'd put on the top step. They had a couple of verbal exchanges, then she came back over near me.

Next thing, TomTom had appeared. Duplicate the Bob interaction.

CC pretty much ignored the boys.

Tomorrow the electrician is scheduled to come and replace my kitchen overhead light. It will be so nice to have decent light in there.

I need to get the office tidied up a bit so that I can get into the closet where the fuses are. That can wait till tomorrow morning.

(That should insure that I'm the first stop on his schedule.)

I guess tonight will also be a bit on the cool side. Wonder how long that will last.

Found a new (to me) journal with a link to an interesting columnist with rather biting commentary on things political.

She also quoted a definition for Electile Dysfunction: "the inability to become aroused over any of the choices put forth by either party in the 2008 election."

Desparate Housewives is back this evening.

And I have just rough-calculated my income tax refund due me. I shall mail the extension form tomorrow, and do the actual form when it is more convenient.
