My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

One entire side of the road my building is on was blocked off this morning. Since I get there really early I didn't have a parking problem--but those who might have arrived later did.

About mid-afternoon a fleet of very long trucks began to fill up that parking area. No signs on the trucks, of course, but someone hazarded a guess that something was being filmed. And as I left about 3:30 I saw a car from one of the TV stations. (It's the one whose news gets rerun ad infiniitum so I might be able to get an idea of what was going on.)

I made some progress with the alumnae office files--they are starting to make sense. Most of what I processed today is about various 50 yr. reunions.

(My Cornell class is having its 50th this year. I'm not going.)

I didn't sleep too well last night--hope that doesn't happen again tonight. It will be early to bed this evening.

Maybe tomorrow I'll have an answer to the mystery of all the BIG van/trucks.
