And, as usual, I've changed colors. This is a somewhat more "mature" green than last month, IMHO.

A day like most days--except that it started with grocery shopping. When I get to Walmart before 0830 I am sure of getting a motorized cart. Also, there aren't that many people crowding the aisles.

When I got home I read the Sunday paper. Ever since Katrina the newpaper has been getting thinner and thinner. Any day now the price will probably go up again--to up the pay of the carriers who are probably dying from escalating gasoline prices.

After lunch I headed for PJ's and spent the afternoon reading more of The Chalice and the Blade. It's a very interesting book. At least today I didn't end up with a list of cited books to buy!

I've got a bunch of things on my June calendar--two birthdays (plus mine) and several doctor appointments. Also, a reminder to call the chiropractor for the quarterly "tune-up."

I ran into OD's husband in WalMart this morning and we chatted a bit. I guess I'll refer to him as ODH. YD's husband is older than OD's husband. Anyway, I mentioned to ODH that if his kids were massively bored they could always come do yard work for me. One of them will most likely have a driver's license by the end of the month. We'll see what happens. Kids these days don't seem to have the "off" time they used to.

I plan on staying home tomorrow and keeping at the yard work. With gas prices what they are, I may go in to N.O. just two days a week, but get there earlier. (Last Friday I got there before 0730.) Or, if I get bored with yard work, there's always housework. :(

So, another IUD gone by.
