My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

I just had to finish Priscilla Royal's book.

Because of that I got to listen to the late news about a kid who was swimming in a body of water by his subdivision and lost his arm to a 12 ft. alligator.

And you maybe thought I was kidding about having an alligator removed from my yard a bunch of years ago?

The boy was airlifted to a major hospital in New Orleans, and Wildlife and Fisheries (of course) caught the alligator and recovered the arm from the stomach. They are going to try and reattach it.

What a horrible day this has been for him and the family! And what a lot they have ahead of them.

And if I hadn't wanted to finish the book I might not have listened to the late news and (probably) could have slept better.
