I had an early dentist appointment today, so this is the first time (1330) I've been in my office room.

Some Mighty Huntress decided to show off and left me a dead rat. It's either very dark brown or black, about 6" long, plus tail.(Weren't plague rats black?) I picked it up with a newspaper bag, doubled it inside the bag, then knotted the bag. It's now in the trash.

I seem to recall that house cats are more likely to eat (or half eat) mice than rats.

Extra good canned food for the girls tonight! I might even give them a can of human tuna, rather than cat food tuna.
