Why? Because the Saints won decisively over Oakland.

Their new kicker's kicks went through the uprights.

It was, overall, a good game, and it felt good being there.

We left near the end of the third quarter, when victory seemed inevitable, and thus beat the traffic.

It's about a month till the next home game. One of the Saints' "home" games is in England this year, thus deleting what would have been a home game. I got information about package deals, but--needless to say--they were rather pricey.

We left the game a bit early to beat the traffic and decided to come home via the twin spans and take a newly opened exit which has been almost decades in the talking, but is now complete and open. This is supposed to relieve traffic on the other exits to Slidell.

Once home I fed the cats and then had a "sinking spell." I feel refreshed, but not so wide awake that I'll have trouble getting to sleep tonight. Tomorrow will be an early one--I have an 8 AM doctor appointment.
