At least my WWfWW* quote a day calendar says so.
It was raining this morning, so that took care of any urges I might have had to do outside stuff. I had wakened too early and so I dozed off again for a while. Did some stuff around the house, then decided that the most productive thing I could do was to head for PJ's and do some geek reading. So I did. Tomorrow will be time enough for the outside stuff. At the moment I hear nom nom nom from the hall. Since it was warm enough today for the door to the porch to be open, I can only assume that Pogo is happily keeping the cat kibble people in business. When it's too cold to leave the door open a critter width I put the dry food on the front porch. However, I have seen a raccoon on the porch a couple of times, so Pogo has to be really alert to get his supper. (The raccoons get their double or triple handful of puppy biscuits tossed out on the patio and adjacent lawn.) So far, Pogo hasn't learned about the cat door to the porch. And I am 90% sure that that door is too narrow for the raccoons. Tomorrow should be a clear (and dry) day, and I am mentally planning just what yard work to do first. During the past week the Chinese tallow trees have erupted into red and gold. I've got several (actually, more than "several") around the yard of various heights. The squirrels love the berries in the spring, and therefore do an outstanding job of seed-spreading. And so another IUD heads for evening. *Wild Words from Wild Women Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
