Today was an at-home day, and I stayed at home. The furthest I ventured from the house was the hundred feet from the house to the street to get the paper and mail.
How's that for excitement! I talked to two people--YD, who called to say that the family member who had planned to go to the game couldn't after all--something urgent had come up--and my neighbor to see if they were interested in the tickets. (They weren't.) So--the tickets are unused, except that they are part of the sell-out that lets me watch the home games at home. I am writing this with one eye on the clock--the game starts in about half an hour. This will be the first genuine home game in about 6 or 7 weeks. That game in London counted as a home game, and then there was a bye week. Just as I was giving some serious thought to yard work today it began to rain. As I said--not much of a day today. Let's hope the Saints get invigorated by (finally) being back on their home turf. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
