Woke up this morning feeling not so hot and concluded that a big Thanksgiving dinner would not be a wise idea.

I called YD to tell her, and she said she'd bring me a "doggie bag" tomorrow. Since she wasn't cooking I had to wonder a bit, but they were over at someone's house, and that person would donate the food.

So . . . . today ended up being pretty much of a do-nothing (constructive) day, although I figure I've caught up on my sleep with plenty to spare.

It rained a bit late this morning, making yard work pretty much out of the question. The forecast for tomorrow calls for "scatterred showers," and if I want to get outdoor stuff done (and not only do I need to, but want to) I need to get an early start. After all today's "resting" I doubt that will be difficult.

I even have a "do-able in an hour or so" project in mind--getting the stuff behind the house cleared out. The weeds are getting pretty tall. I would hope that my forays back there to find water shutoffs might have resulted in most of the stickery seeds having attached themselves to my clothes, but I doubt it. Once I get the things pulled the problem will be over till next year. And if I get a bit more diligent about weed-whacking back there, by next year the problem will be essentially solved.
