There might have been one person who came to the library today looking for something libraryish. Or there might not have been anyone.

I got a lot done back in my little corner, and the librarian was busy updating stuff, etc.

When she headed for the post office I asked her if she would consider bringing me back a coffee (there's a PJ's there), handed her my PJ's card, and told her to get something for herself also.

That worked out well. I don't know why I hadn't thought of it sooner.

I had just gotten my stuff back to my carrel this morning when my phone rang. It was the doctor's office, and I answered it by saying something on the order of yes--I'll see you tomorrow at 8:30. (Must remember to set my alarm clock accordingly.)

Today was basically a very uneventful day. At least in the commuting traffic department, thank goodness. Each day a bit more of the interstate has been blacktopped. They work at night, of course, but every once in a while there's a tourist-type who isn't aware of this and who drives excessively cautiously. (Must be kind to tourists--they spend money here.)

I wonder what TV show I'll end up watching from behind the eyelids.
