Another "brisk and invigorating" day--if you're a polar bear.
Really not that bad compared to more northerly climates, but when your blood has "thinned out" (as they say) it is definitely NOT nice weather. On the positive side (sort of)--it's not (currently) precipitating in any way, shape, or form. I spent as much of today as possible indoors. Last night was a really lousy night for sleep for me, even with the giant fuzzy black blanket. I eventually gave up and tuned to the channel with the Star Trek reruns. And finally fell asleep. The last one I was watching had Wesley Crusher as merely an "acting ensign." And Warf's head wasn't nearly as wrinkly(?) as in later films. Sure hope tonight is better, sleepwise. I started on a new "Kitty" (the werewolf) novel. It looks quite promising. I haven't had the news on yet, so I don't know whether or not the world has ended. Somehow, I have this sneaking suspicion that I'm not going be awake for the late night Star Trek this evening. I sure hope not. Guess I'll go watch the local news to see what the weather guessers say. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
