My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Today has been a non-standard IUD.

The biggest news is that I have a bunch of bookcase space!!

No, I didn't buy a new one (no place to put it.)

Instead, the people whose Freecycle posting I'd answered came by to get the old encyclopedias. The woman homeschools, and was thrilled to get the encyclopedia, even though it's a bit on the old side. It doesn't have the latest on some things, but she said her kids need to have the experience of the general information source.

She came with her mother and we had a great conversation. The daughter just got a pacemaker, and the mother is my age.

I also loaned several books in which one or both were interested.

Now I have to decide just which books will take over the newly-freed shelf space.

It didn't rain today, but it wasn't a particularly bright and sunny day either.

CC and Spots have progressed to touching noses when they "meet" each other. I guess Spots was destined to live here.

The word for today (from my Word-a-Day calendar) is nocuous. No surprise that it means harmful.
