Because that means I have no involvement whatsoever in the mayoral and other city office elections in New Orleans.

Therefore, I did not have to leave my cozy warm house except for the daily trek to the mailbox and paper tube. It wasn't raining, so I walked it. Quickly.

When (and where) I was growing up this weather was described as "raw." Cold and cloudy.

Once again I have very friendly cats. Spots knew what he was doing when he sacrificed his jewels to obtain a spot in a nice warm house--a house complete with another cat for feline company.

I do hope tomorrow is somewhat less nasty. And that it doesn't rain. I would like to get to church--but not if it's raining.

This evening's TV looks massively boring--lots of time will be devoted to viewing the results of the elections.

I expect that by tomorrow I will be deeply involved in a book. (I'm not currently in the middle of reading anything, but I have about a half dozen books in the to be read pile.)

Bottom line--today has been (yet) another IUD.
