I though she (and her tail) were safely out of the way, but somehow she managed to delete an almost complete entry.
I know she's just trying to be friendly, but if I could teach her to read she might respect the written word a bit more. Cold and nasty today. I didn't see any flurries, but the other end of the parish did. My next door neighbors have gone camping this weekend--in a motor home--in the Pensacola area. Which is scheduled to get today's nasty weather tomorrow, along with a bit more precipitation. They're nice neighbors. I did a bit or erranding today and came to the conclusion that there is a parade in Slidell this evening. My first clue? Pickups, campers, and cars parked along the parade route. The people plan for just about everything--there are also port-o-lets in the beds of about half the pickups. And the majority of those (the johns) are painted purple, green, and gold (Mardi Gras colors.) This is the first year I've noticed that. This afternoon I had a bit of a "sinking spell"--and that will justify watching Star Trek at midnight. Just remembered that I haven't put out the critter food yet. I'm pretty sure they're lurking in the undergrowth waiting for the rattle of cat kibble (for the possums) and the clunk of dog biscuits on the patio for the raccoons. And this evening I may watch Mardi Gras festivities from the comfort of my couch. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
