My blood was pink today, and my hip was really bothering me. In one sense I was glad I couldn't do the platelet thing, because I could get home that much sooner and take "the good stuff".

I did just that, then (assisted by a large black cat) I had a nice long nap. When I woke up the hip pain was gone. I feel great now.

So, I didn't get a whole lot accomplished today--especially since I let myself doze off again in the late afternoon.

I am now awake, feeling pretty good, and will probably end up not getting to sleep early because of the nap. At least the Olympics are on for late night "noise."

I did get a bit household stuff done--a load of laundry which is now drying.

Weather is currently a bit on the cool side--not really the kind of weather that makes me think about yard work. However, I DO need to get some of the stuff out of the front ditches so when we have a heavy rain the excess will be able to run off better. It's not just leaves and stuff, but also trash, such as bottles and cartons.

When I fed my beasts this evening I realized that I need to go to WalMart tomorrow. And the intelligent time for that is relatively early in the AM. I might even set an alarm to that I can beat the crowds.

According to the weather maps, we'll be getting some significant rain tonight. Hope it's over by morning.

And so, another IUD is just about over.
