Yes--spring is definitely here.

But the middle of today was spent with my financial advisore and a bunch of her other clients, while she explained some stuff about how she follows and reacts to trends. There were some interesting people there, and the talk included a light lunch.

Afterwards, I decided to head up the interstate to WalMart for some stuff.

I could have avoided the interstate, and trudged along "regular" streets, but I figured the other would be faster.

Well, it may have been, but I thought the left turn light to the on-ramp would NEVER change. The traffic was backing up for a couple of blocks. I finally said the hell with it--the cars facing me aren't moving, and turned left. I was followed closely by a lot of relieved people. I suspect that the light was malfunctioning, but it sure picked a bad intersection to do it at.

So I'm now restocked with critter food for a while.

And the weather is warming up, little by little. I'm using the AC every once in a while in my office room.

No plans to go in to New Orleans tomorrow--I brought home the rough drafts of all the inventories yesterday and I'll type them up here.

Beides, I REALLY need to do some yard work tomorrow.

It's definitely warming up. When I got back home today I put on shorts and a sleeveless tank top. And that means I should attempt to do yard stuff in the morning.

But now it's time to eat the yummy croissant roast beef sandwich from the WalMart deli. These are very good.
