The furthest I've been from the house today is the 150 feet down the driveway to the paper and mail boxes. And back. And most of the day was spent doing indoor "stuff."

At one point I was at the computer and looking at the LOLcats. One clip had a sound track of a cat chasing its tail. There was so much grrring etc. that both my cats were on the table trying to see if they could help the cat.

(I just checked, and that LOLcat is no longer there.)

Other than that, my LOLcats spent most of the day sleeping. (What else is new?)

If the weather tomorrow is as nice as today, I'll try to get some outdoor stuff done tomorrow. I think a new burn pile should be at the top of my list. And then the inevitable weeding and trimming. I also need to buy some azaleas as the thank you to my neighbor for his help with the mailbox. And I want to start getting the triangle across the street looking better. BK I had a bunch of small azaleas, but the post K growth--not to mention my hip instability--took over. This year, however, I can see them again, so I should really get stuff cleared out around them.

I'm making a mental list of stuff to do relative to weeding there. First I need to paint a bright orange triangle on the sides of my trash cans so I can leave them on the almost-shoulder to sort of serve notice to the traffic to slow down a bit.

The weather at the moment is just about perfect for outdoor work--pleasant temperature and low humidity. Can't ask for much better.

I checked the pool today and the turtles are active. There will probably be little turtles soon. I gave a moment's thought a while back to tossing a water hyacinth into the pool, but it would probably take only about two weeks for it to cover the pool. And, since there ARE the turtles living there, I want to have large areas of the surface clear.

One of these days I need to take my car to the car wash for a thorough bath. I noticed the other day that my favorite car wash is now also an Official Inspection Station. (I'm not due again for 11 months.) But before I take it for a bath I need to dejunk (or at least rearrange) the back seat and rear part.

It's always something, isn't it.
