It's reached the point where I want the room AC on for a bit--or at least the fan pushing the air around.

Really nice weather again today, but I didn't quite get around to the "yard work" note on my perpetual to-do list. I'm going in to New Orleans on Thursday, partly for an appointment and partly to take care of the last phases of the current collection.

I don't know where my get-up-and-go got-up-and-went. It's been a bit warmer, so I haven't had the cat on me reinforcing the sleep brain waves. Guess I'll have have to get used to that again.

This morning the boy cat brought me presents--two baby birds. One was already dead, so I took the one that wasn't back outside on the off-chance that the parents might find it. With him in the neighborhood, the birds will be stronger and smarter. Those who aren't won't be around to reproduce.

I'm about halfway through another J. D. Robb book. I'm not sure if my eyes will last long enough to finish it tonight, but it's a doozie.

And, it's time I got back to it.
