And a look at the weather radar confirms the weather-guessers' prediction of a fair amount of rain etc. this evening. Well, it's the Soggy South and spring. A drought would be MAJOR news.
And the sorry saga of BP and company continues. Tonight's news expresses a fair amount of concern that some of the spill will get into a loop current that goes around the tip of Florida and then north. (Sorry Bex, but I'm sure you're following the gloomy news and trying to do daily tasks with all fingers crossed.) How about bottling up (individually) a bunch of the smaller blobs of oil and sending them to BP executives! Maybe use containers that will fall apart easily? (Just fantasizing--it helps relieve the tensions.) Today was mostly a this and that day. I did get some cleaning done in the den, and spent the required amount of time petting the cats, especially the boy cat who really really wants petting. Of course, if we weren't such an oil-greedy people we might not have this problem. (Or a lot of conveniences that have now become "necessities.") So this evening will be showers, which will cool off the temperatures as it raises the humidity. Can very seldom have it both ways. And I'll be reading and watching TV.
