Hot and humid. Nothing really noteworthy. Another IUD.
My big "outing" was late this afternoon to pick up a prescription renewal I'd phoned in, and then (as long as I was out) lupper at Arby's. I started reading a collection of short stories about Sookie Stackhouse while I ate. At the moment I can't recall the author, but the stories are set (for the most part) in northern Louisiana, in a town barely big enough for a WalMart. Sookie can read minds, and is part of a "community" of people with what would be called paranormal talents. The stories (and books) are a lot of fun to read. The author has the Louisiana background down really well. As I said, today was a hot one. The big boy cat spent most of it under a bush outside. The girl settled on the screened porch, on a special cat shelf built into the corner. (What?? spoil the pets? Whatever do you mean?) I didn't put out the raccoon and possum food because I was feeding the felines a bit early. Time to do that now. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
