. . . it hasn't rained today.

However, the weather radar looks like it might this evening. I hope so. Even though it ups the humidity, it also lowers the ambient temperture.

This afternoon as I was getting the cat food ready, I looked out on the porch and there was Little Mama Goldie, looking very plaintive.

As soon as the felines were eating I took the bag of dry cat food toward the porch. And Little Goldie looked expectantly at me and moved back so I could pour it out. She's learning that (as cute as she is) I don't want her too near me.

I guess she figures that's a fair trade-off for regular food so she'll have healthy children.

Today was totally unremarkable. It was hot (of course) but not as hot as is has been. I went out in the late afternoon for supper at Arby's and then some stuff at Walgreen's. (High excitement, right?)

I finally started reading the Tepper book. I'm far enough along that I want to keep reading this evening. Since TV offers only the usual mindless drivel, I'll leave that on for background noise and read some more.

If I manage to get to sleep at a decent hour I should wake up in time to get some yard work done in the cooler morning hours.

As I have said before--an IUD.
