2010-08-12 5:30 PM Weather Again Read/Post Comments (1) |
Today started out "iffy." Pat (the Mobile friend) called and we stared at online weather maps and finally concluded that today would probably be nastily wet.
Reschedule for tomorrow. And really keep the fingers crossed about the weather. I think it will be somewhat better--what had been the maybe center of a tropical low seems to have disintergrated/moved/otherwise become reduced as a threat. I went out to WalMart this afternoon to get my glasses adjusted, and completely forgot about that until I got home. I am, however, all set for a while with the assorted critter foods. Unless the weather is really awful tomorrow I'll be headed to Gulfport for what we call "The Gulf Coast Women's History Conference." Today was definitely blah--and wet off and on. The cats have kept me company no matter what room I've been in. Spots is asleep on the TV tray next to me, and CC has wakened briefly to take a bath on the papasan on the other side. They know the value of a human house in yucky weather. The first pre-season Saints game should be starting soon--if it hasn't already. It's in Boston against the Patriots. Next Saturday is their first home game, albeit still preseason. Unless the weather is disgusting again, tomorrow will be the Gulf Coast Women's History Conference. (And I wonder how many people end up at this site because of a women's history google! If you do, drop a note please.) Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
