It was a totally usual day. Can't think of much different, although I didn't see any masked critters. Yet. I may have been busy doing stuff, or they may be in the process of seeking their own territories. I haven't checked to see if the kibble on the porch has disappeared.

As I returned from a minor errand I saw that there was a path being worn from the woods towards the front of the house. Probably a raccoon trail. (When your lawn has been recently mowed animal pathways begin to show up.)

Weather was not rainy, although for most of the day it was overcast. Well, that's to be expected in the late summer.

I guess tomorrow I'd better give the dr. a call--the thing on my head still oozes. I've been cleaning and gooping it twice a day.
