This afternoon got cooled off somewhat by a brief rain. If one can believe the weather radar, there will be more off and on this evening.

And--best part--the amount by which the rain lowered the temperature was not cancelled out by increased humidity.

The little raccoons still come by in the evening for their biscuits, but this afternoon was the first in a while where they came early to check on the kibble situation.

They must have been near enough to hear the sounds of it being poured out, because I had barely gotten back into the den when I heard crunching noises.

Mama, however, appears to have gone off on a vacation now that they are (probably) fully weaned.

As for me--I haven't done much other than catch up on household stuff.

Tomorrow afternoon will be spent watching the Saints and Atlanta--with crossed fingers, of course.

This evening I need to decide on the next (mind candy) book to read.

How's that for an incredibly unremarkable day!
