My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

It feels like the autumnal solstice has definitely had an effect on the weather.

The forecast highs for the coming week are only mid-80s, and the humidity is currently comfortably low.

I don't feel a need to turn on the office AC--at least not at the moment.

It (of course) was an IUD. I did go out to WalMart this afternoon for cat and critter food, plus a few other things. And I found a gorgeous bright yellow blouse on sale. Perfect for Saints games.

My giant black boy cat, who is supposedly banned from the table with the computer, has managed to find himself a spot close to me, yet not interfering in anything, and is sleeping happily. As long as he stays in one place, it's okay, and I think he is figuring that out.

Next week I'll be going back into N.O. two or three days a week, so I need to get caught up on all the household stuff that is so easy to put off when "tomorrow" is always available.

And I need to get my body used to getting up a LOT earlier. I try to be out of the house 0615 at the latest, and swing through McDonald's for coffee and a sausage muffin to drink/eat on the drive in.

Tonight is Monday, so there will be a football game to watch (while I read) if the other TV is not interesting to me.

And that's it for yet another IUD.
