At least for M-F workers. For the rest of us it's just the longest day of the week. (In name, that is.)

This morning the cats reminded me that I was getting low on their treat food as well as the canned stuff.

So--off to WalMart. This time I remembered to stop at the glasses place and make an appointment with the optometrist. Next Tuesday was pretty much the first available opening.

I (of course) restocked the critter food and got a few other things as well.

This weather is really nice. It's great for sleeping, yet I can go outside and do stuff without a sweater or jacket. And it looks like it will hold for a few more days.

Yet another bit of tropical weather is out in the Atlantic. It's been named Oscar (I think). However, it doesn't appear to be headed anywhere except more or less northeastish--way far away from land masses. It's the fifteenth named tropical storm of the season. We don't usually get that far, although I think I vaguely recall getting close to the end of the alphabet one year.

So--another IUD around here--even the glorious weather is (for this time of year) unremarkable.
