The weather, however, was quite nice. Not cold, and definitely not hot. (And not wet.)
I couldn't get another appointment for my head till Wednesday, but that's okay--part of the reason it's on Wednesday is because tomorrow I have a glasses appointment. My life is just one exciting thing after another. I'm having a hard time getting used to almost full darkness at 7 PM. I think we have a time change coming up when that little matter will get taken care of. During WWII the US was on daylight time year round, except they called it War Time. In Great Britain they went one better and had double daylight time--two hours from the "usual." Of course, Great Britain is significantly further north than the majority of the United States. This morning I sat on the porch for a few minutes, and up came a couple of raccoons, They understand the "distance rules" pretty well and wait till I have put the kibble down before they go after it. I don't scatter it, but put it in dishes. Enough of the daily trivia--I definitely have a reason for the blog title. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
