Today I had a bunch of "must do" thisses and thats. Tomorrow I'll go in to New Orleans and get back to the archival files.

Nothing like fall weather in the South--I still don't need a sweater during the day, and it is lovely and cool at night--cool enough that the furnace is very welcome in the morning.

I think they said the current hurricane in the Gulf was weakening. Tomas is its name. I remember one year when there were more than 26 named storms. I don't recall what they did about names for #27 and followers.

Elections coming up next week. I've decided on the Lt. Governor candidate, and as far as Congress goes, it's anybody except Vitter. He's a womanizer--when he's not trying to act pious. I also don't agree with many of his political positions.

Another IUD.
