I keep thinking it is Saturday, but my phone (and computer) tell me it's Friday.

That works for me--and "adds" a day to my weekend.

The summer weather is definitely gone--there are freeze warnings for a few areas for tonight. Not right where I am, but that still means lower temperatures.

And getting used to the furnace noise again.

No complaints about furnace noise--it means lovely hot air going throughout the house. And cats who are quite happy to be domesticated--and share warmth with the human body at night.

Actually, I come out ahead on that one--a cat's basal temperature is about two degrees F higher than that of a human.

My "plans" for the next couple of days include raking, trimming--and then burning.

Sunday's Saints game is at Carolina, and the next week is a bye week.

Tomorrow I have no excuse for not working outside.

The early evening news (local) had a "teaser" about something new in New Orleans--a male dance team. I'll be sure and watch the late news to hear more about that one.

Also on the local front--Wheel of Fortune is town for tryouts AND a week of broadcasts from here. (No, I'm not trying out.)

So, all in all it's been pretty much a normal day--an IUD.
