Stayed home today, but (naturally) didn't get nearly as much done as I had hoped. (Isn't that always the case?)

The man who collects my trash came by for his semi-annual payment. And (of course) we chatted a bit. He's been collecting it since shortly after we moved back here in 1976. He's quite reasonable and charges by the quantity. I get weekly pickup of one or two barrels of bagged trash.

When we moved back here there was no public trash service outside of city limits, but there were several independents--one of whom covererd those of us in this area who were interested.

Before we discovered him my husband would make dump runs. He was definitely worth the money.

At any rate, that was about the high point of my day. (Really exciting life I lead!)

Later in the afternoon I went out for a couple of things--and swung through Arby's to solve the supper problem.

This evening looks to be equally exciting. I shall probably watch TV and read. Since I have no reason to get up early, I can watch "Criminal Minds" all the way to midnight--unless I fall asleep midway, which is always a possibility.
