(This is the best I could do with seasonal colors. Here in the Deep South we still have lots of green even in the dead of winter.)

Today was another IUD. It was cold enough for the furnace to cycle on several times during the night--and during the day. The floor registers are very popular with the cats.

About 3 PM I headed for WalMart for some stuff. That's usually a good time--it's between when the kids are in school, and when they get home.

Today however, I wasn't the only mobility-challenged person to be there. I had to wait about 10 minutes for a motorized cart.

Last night I had a large black cat curl up in my midsection area, and I figure he will repeat that tonight. He's definitely not unaware of the benefits of being in a human household.

CC has created herself a nest among the blankets, sheets, and old bedspread tossed on/into the double papasan.

My plans for tomorrow include (probably) going in to Newcomb. I don't want to lose track of where I am with the current collection. I think the weather will cooperate.

Yesterday was trash day for me, but when I left for New Orleans in the early afternoon my carrier had not yet picked up. Near the end of my street I spotted his truck etc., but someone else was driving it. The trash guy is in my general age bracket, so I hope he's not sick or anything. He's been taking care of us for about thirty years.

Yes--today definitely falls into the IUD category.

Cross fingers that the weather, traffic, etc. are conducive to going into Newcomb (Tulane) tomorrow.
