Translation--there's supposed to be a hard freeze tonight. That means in the 20s. Fahrenheit.
My pipes are all nicely protected, and I rather expect the cats to spend the night inside--probably trying to steal my body heat. The other critters most likely have their own places, although I would not put it past them to make use of the garage. I did a quick WalMart run this afternoon, mostly to gas up the car. Unless the weather is lousy tomorrow I plan to go in to New Orleans, and I really hate to stop for gas on the way in, especially in cold weather. I decided against doing Holidailies this year. (I didn't do it last year either, except for a couple of entries.) My pre-holiday time is so little different from the rest of the year that I got tired of trying to find something interesting to talk about. I had been doing it since its inception, but last year was the last year, as far as I'm concerned. So, today was essentially yet another IUD, if you don't count the temperature. And, speaking of the temperature, I think I need to up the thermostat a bit. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
