My computer and its connection were being extremely "difficult" earlier this afternoon--to the point that I was preparing a list of all its orneriness for the computer wizard I'd be calling first thing tomorrow.

But, it must have read my mind and cleaned up its act, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this.

(Please excuse typos--it's really hard to type with fingers crossed twice on each hand.)

Weather can best be described as nasty--cold and wet. At the moment the wet is rain. I don't think it will get quite cold enough for white stuff.

I'm glad I have auto-deduct for the gas company (as well as a couple of others) or I would probably pass out when the next bill comes. The furnace has been cycling on disgustingly regularly all day.

Whether I go in to work tomorrow will depend on the weather. I don't like to tempt fate on wet sidewalks etc. unless I absolutely have to, and there are darned few things that will meet that criterium.

Back to the cozy couch, afghan, and cat.

Needless to say, the cats find the litter box suddenly attractive, compared to digging a depression in wet ground, and getting rained on the whole time.

I shall probably end up with a two-cat "blanket" tonight.
