A gray day, but at least the sky wasn't leaking. And my guess--based on the weather maps--is that it may or may not rain this evening/tonight.

My boy cat's response to my attempts to keep the area adjacent to the computer relatively feline-free has been to settle down quietly within reach of a petting hand. Note: the computer is on a card table. You do the visualization.

I went out for a bit this afternoon to sort-of look for a cat collar for CC. I found one at Big Lots--as well as several other things I did and didn't need--so now all I have to do is convince her that it is flattering to her overall appearance. So far I haven't been successful.

Incidentally, for those of you living north of me, the Word-a-Day calendar says that today's word is Frigorific. It's an adjective, and refers to "causing cold and/or chilling." (duh)

Monday I need to call the billing office at my doctor. Today's mail contained a refusal of payment by my insurer for a service supposedly rendered to my older daughter (who hits 50 in June.)

I'm pretty sure that this is the fault of the doctor's office. A couple of months ago we went around a couple of times about a co-pay, which they asked for (and got) as I was on my way out. Okay--but then I got billed for it later after they received the insurance reimbursement.

I don't even know if OD uses him as her primary care physician. There was no description of any treatment--just an amount due.

It should be an "interesting" conversation.

But now it's just about time for the semi-decent TV programming.
