My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

That's the kind of day it has been--a bit of this and a bit of that.

All those activities are carefully selected to sound extremely useful and justify postponing stuff like cleaning or raking leaves.

At the moment I plan to go in to Newcomb tomorrow. I don't like to have too many days between "visits" so I don't lose track of what is going on with the particular collection I might be working on.

Weatherwise it's been gorgeous.

Oh yes--my first activity was to go to WalMart to get the tire that kept wanting to go flat repaired. I was there about an hour and a half, but I'd brought a book along, and they had very good coffee in the waiting room for the auto department.

The guy said there were two holes in the tire, one of them with a tack/nail still in it.

No wonder it kept losing air.

The cost was about $10, which I consider VERY fair.

My extended weekend ends tonight, and tomorrow it will be back to a routine of sorts.
