My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

The other day I got a mailer from Church's Fried Chicken.

And I started salivating at the big "special" offering fried shrimp and french fries. For only $2.99.

This afternoon I got one of those orders, expecting maybe a half dozen little shrimp and lots of potatoes.

Not so--there were a full dozen medium-ish shrimp, and just a small amount of fries.

I shall be availing myself of that little treat again.

Earlier in the afternoon I gathered together the latest newspaper collections and took them out to the pool. I saw a couple of turtles, but not much else, The newspapers went into the deep end, where they will slowly disintegrate.

Other than that, it's been an IUD.

Unless it's raining, I plan on going back into work on Monday.
