My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

The 6 PM weather showed a LOT of thunderstorm activity heading for us.

Today we were not lucky--about 7 PM the power went out.

It took almost three hours to get repaired, but (obviously) it did return.

My area was fairly lucky--no reports of drastic damage.

This (I'm sure) will no doubt be amended by tomorrow, as long as the power stays on.

My immediate area (I don't know much about the non-immediate area) seems to have had no major problems.

Again--the power returned just before 10 PM, and that's news time.

I tried to doze off, but had no luck.

As for the rest of the day--the usual IUD.

I did remember to get more batteries when I went to Walgreen's.

I do hope this weather moves out of here.
