Yep--another one of those.

For some reason my boy cat is feeling VERY affectionate, and wants to be VERY close to me. It's hard to type with a cat head resting on your left hand.

Today was spent doing boring stuff.

I headed for Arby's for supper, and ended up having an interesting conversation with one of the managers. Topic was books. He'd asked me what I was reading once before and seemed really interested. The conversation picked up pretty much where it had left off.

He's going to college part time, as is his girl friend--who is also a reader.

I'm still reading the Brian Fagan book about climate and am now into the interactions between climate change and people on the west coast of S. America.

Guano plays a major role in it (and if you don't know what guano is look it up--there's a contemporary four-letter word for it that starts with s and ends with t.)

Weather was pleasant again--starting to hint at the seasonal change. Spring is really gorgeous in the Deep South--so many bushes and flowers blooming, and while the temperatures are warming up, the humidity is not keeping pace. Yet.

No wonder I find the climate book interesting.

Even though I can now see behind me, I think I'll wait till next week to drive in to N.O. By then I'll be bored to tears with household stuff etc.

And that's it for another IUD.
