A day like most days--pleasant weather and no crises (so far).

I talked briefly with YD. I got a renewal notice for something for Anna, and I needed to know for sure if she was ready for the next level. (She is--of course.)

In the late afternoon I decided that a run to the small grocery store was needed.

When I got back I ws greeted by the security contingent.

Just inside the gate CC was sitting at alert on a tree stump. About halfway down the driveway Spots was keeping an eye on things from ground level.

And now I'm settling down for a quiet evening.

When I go back to the den I'll put out raccoon biscuits. The possum chow got put out on the front porch just after I fed the felines. The raccoons seem to turn to look at me after grabbing their biscuits--I look at that as a "thank you."

Pleasant weather--not the stinkin' sweaty hot of the summer. (And "stinkin" is the appropriate adjective for summer heat.)

Dang--I just remembered that I had planned to stop at Walgreen's and see if a prescription was ready. Oh well--it can wait till tomorrow.

Another IUD winding down.
