A visit from the computer genie this morning, and both my computers can now be called "good computer" with all the little irritants gone.

My "regular" computer was in its usual place on the table, and the cordless (potentially) one was on the small tray table to the left. The guy could switch back and forth between them with minimal effort.

All sorts of things got updated, and I cannot help but notice that the background colors have changed slightly.

He was here about two hours, and chatted and explained stuff while he worked.

I had my list of little things that irritated me, and he took care of them all, plus defragging both computers to make them more efficient.

Money well spent.

The rest of the day was totally unremarkable. A quick trip to WalMart to replenish various critter foods.

(And I just remembered that I didn't eat supper before I had a sinking spell. I need to take care of that little matter!)

I haven't decided whether to go in to work tomorrow or Friday. That may get decided when the alarm goes off tomorrow morning. If I discuss its ancestry and turn it off, Friday will the second work day. Otherwise--tomorrow. That decision will be determined by the quality of tonight's sleep.

Right now my body is suggesting that I begin it now (1919) but that would probably result in my waking up at a ridiculously early hour.

So--I guss I'll put out critter food, then see what's on the idiot box this evening.
