And, since it was a home day, I didn't set an alarm clock.
My body woke up about half past seven, but it was not because I was slept out. It was because I was COLD. I've had the furnace pilot off for a couple of weeks now, so it was a matter of pull up another afghan and say "here kitty kitty." (I've tried a couple of times to get the pilot relit, but it's being really difficult. When it gets close to fall temperatures I'll have the furnace people come out. It's been a while since they've been here. And the furnace IS about 47 years old.) Once the sun was up it warmed up nicely, but I think it will be a two-afghan (and as many cats as possible) night. Wait--I have only two cats at the moment. Okay, a two-cat night. Today was a this and that day, and in the early afternoon I decided that the critter food level called for a quick trip to replenish those stocks. In addition to the critter food I got a ready-made salad. They're tasty, fresh, and very reasonably priced--like at least a dollar less than fast fooderies. I'll go into work either tomorrow or Thursday. I'll decide when I have to make the decision of whether or not to set the alarm clock. So--another incredibly unremarkable day (so far) is heading towards its end. Time now to settle down for evening trashy TV. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
