I was more or less scheduled to meet someone today (in N.O.) B U T - - -

No parking on the side of the street that had the building.

And, since the building is in the middle of a block, it was just my luck that the only spot on the other side was also in the middle of the (relatively long) block.

Question: would you try to jaywalk across a major street (with a neutral ground and trolley cars in the middle) or would you say something obscene to yourself?

And head back home.

Once I was back home I finished up the BK "meal" that I'd bought as I left New Orleans.

And then had a very satisfactory sinking spell.

So I am now in a somewhat less snarky mood.

Besides, it's hard to stay snarky when you have a cat next to you that looks at you as if you were a goddess.

I was just trying to decide whether to go in to N.O. tomorrow, then remembered that tomorrow is Saturday.

Another week just about gone by.
