It seems that yesterday disappeared somehow.

Guess I was too busy reading other people's journals to put up something of my own.

Well, that's what happens when you live An Incredibly Unremarkable Life.

Today is (according to my word-a-day calendar--and the little icon on the computer screen) the last day of May.

I'm not sure where it went, but it included an appointment today with the optometrist at Wal-Mart.

I've been there several times before and I really like her.

Today I got several surprises. The first was a nice one--she wanted my insurance and medicare cards. That is something new, and I am not complaining.

The next wasn't quite that great. She was concerned about something in her exam, went and looked up information about it, then explained it (more or less) to me, and referred me to an ophthalmologist.

I've got an appointment with him at the end of the week.

Apparently, my vision hasn't changed enough to justify new lenses--hooray!

Let's see--today is Tuesday. Tomorrow is "open," so to speak.

Thursday I have the electrical people coming to get my garage circuits functioning again, including the air compressor.

And now Friday will be taken up with a dr. appointment.

At the moment, I'm trying to decide if it's worth going in to work tomorrow, trying to get my mind together to where I was (with the work) the last time I was able to get there. And then having another five day break.

As I think about it I'm thinking that it would be more efficient to wait till next week when (hopefully) I can get into Newcomb two or three days.

Sooo - - - yet another IUD is heading for the sunset.

Decisions decisions.
