Church was sparsely attended. I'd say it was because of the imminent start of school, but school started about two weeks ago.

I spent the afternoon doing little stuff and resting my eyelids.

The latter was not too successful--I'd left the TV on (deliberately) and for a change there was some interesting stuff.

The raccoons have learned the supper routine pretty well.

The first one waited patiently just outside the "entry" until I'd filled a dish AND pushed it over near him(?). Once I'd gone back inside the house a couple of others came onto the porch.

And when the boy cat sees me feeding the raccoons he knows that he'd better get inside before the girl cat eats his food too.

So--another IUD almost over.

This coming week is when students swarm back onto the Tulane and Newcomb campuses.

I plan to stay at home and not add my car to the crowd.
