My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

(Tropical Storm) Lee is still hovering around and negatively affecting the weather--unless you are a duck or a fish.

Today was pretty much on-again/off-again rain.

I opted for a "catered" luncheon and headed to Arby's. There was very little traffic on the streets--especially for a Sunday. I told the manager guy at Arby's that this wasn't really tropical weather eating--Popeye's is more or less the "official" storm take-out food.

After listening to the reports this evening I've definitely decided that tomorrow will NOT be a work day. Part of my "usual" route towards New Orleans is partially closed because of very high water in a creek/river that my usual route crosses.

And then they talk about other streets etc.

I'll be surprised if Tulane/Newcomb have classes tomorrow.

Most of my day was spent on the couch, with the TV on. And most of the TV had flood/storm coverage interspersed with the usual Saturday drivel.

TS Lee is still not out of the way.
