No--not till Christmas. That's all that's left of 2011.

I was going to join Holidailies (again) but got lost in the registration. I don't recall it being so complicated to register in years past.

At any rate, since I post daily anyway, what's the big deal.

Today was catching up (more or less) on all sorts of stupid household stuff. Mostly that consisted of moving things from temporary storage on a an empty chair to somewhere else.

After a great deal of thought, this afternoon I headed out to WalMart. It seemed much busier than a usual Saturday afternoon.

The critters and I now have a fresh stock of edibles that might even last a week.

I did encounter a bit of a problem--just as I was getting one of the last items on my "list" my electric cart died.

Fortunately, an "associate" was relatively nearby. She brought me a regular cart, I shifted my soon-to-be purchases to that one, and left the problem of getting the dead (and HEAVY) cart to wherever sick carts go up to the associates.

I just glanced out the window and to my surprise it's really dark out there. Okay--it's almost the winter solstice so it should be dark--but I guess I haven't been paying that much attention to the onset of the darkness.

And that means it's supper time.
