Pretty much an ordinary day, unless you count the HUGE crowd taking up all the parking spaces by Walgreen's--and then some this morning.

I had set out for something minor, but the people buying batteries and REALLY last-minute gifts took all the parking spaces.

So I waited till later in the day to get what I needed (cat crunchies were on the list.)

About an hour ago my next door neighbor brought a big platter of goodies for me and another for my cats and other four-legged friends. The latter were dog biscuits her dog didn't like. I doubt that the raccoons and possums will be picky eaters.

We had a bit of a chat, and then she headed back home to her husband and menagerie.

It hasn't been a particularly productive day, but where does it say that there are no days off in life?
