It was a well-played game, even though the Saints came out on the underside.
When you live in (or near) a city that is below sea level--and has been known to flood--you get used to "stuff" happening. And good "stuff" is more appreciated here than in many locations. Other than the outcome of the game, it was a pretty good day. Weather was great--and dry. I got most of my errands done. (It will probably be a day or so before I realize what I forgot.) Have I mentioned the metal feeding dish? It disappeared from the front porch several weeks ago, but reappeared a week or so later. My thought at the time was that the raccoons took it to somewhere "safe." This happened once before and a couple of weeks later it reappeared--probably when they discovered that it refilled automatically only when it was on the porch. Things were fine until a week or so ago when once again it disappeared. And a couple of days ago it reappeared. I need to ask my neighbor if she found it in her yard and returned it. I think there's something halfway decent on TV this evening. Time to go check. Weather continues to be pleasant during the day and in need of the furnace at night. The recent cold snap is (hopefully) gone. I am sure my gas bill will be "significant" for this month. My big boy cat is acting really cuddly--it mut be cooling down outside and he wants me to share my warmth. Doesn't he know that his basal temperature is about two degrees higher than mine? I come out ahead when he cuddles for warmth! Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
